[W113] Martin Jung: Precision analyses of b→c transitions

Abstract

b → c transitions play an important role both in the determination of Standard Model (SM) parameters like Vcb and in the search for physics beyond the Standard Model (BSM). These applications require precision determinations of the corresponding form factors, encoding the non-perturbative hadronic interactions in these processes. I will discuss the present status of these form factor determinations, as well as applications to semileptonic and non-leptonic decays that exhibit significant tensions with SM expectations that have so far not been resolved.
