Abstract
Gravitational wave detection has not only opened a window for discoveries in black hole physics, but also a new venue to understand macroscopic events in the early universe, such as phase transitions. Since phase transitions are crucial in microscopic mechanisms that explain the matter-antimatter asymmetry, Standard Model extensions with phase transitions could be tested by gravitational wave experiments too. I will talk about how to obtain a gravitational wave spectrum from your particle physics model using thermodynamics and a bit of software tools.
