[W95] Lucía Duarte: Majorana Neutrinos with effective interactions in B decays

We investigate the possible contribution of intermediate Majorana neutrinos to B meson decays in an interaction formalism with dim 6 effective operators. We exploit the existing bounds on the lepton number violating  B -> mu mu pi+ and in the radiative B -> mu nu gamma decays  to constrain the new physics contributions, characterized by their Dirac-Lorentz structure. We propose studying tau lepton polarization and lepton-photon angular asymmetries in tauonic and radiative B decays at B factories as a means to  evaluate and disentangle the trails of the distinct effective operators
